Pearland TX high school senior photographer: Be still my heart …

Watch out world, this is Brooke, Class of 2016.

She’s got more moxie in her little finger on a bad day than most have in their selves on a good day.

And just in case you haven’t heard the word “moxie” in … oh … a generation or so … here’s the definition:

mox·ie
ˈmäksē/

noun

NORTH AMERICAN informal
  1. force of character, determination, or nerve.
ex: “when you’ve got moxie, you need the clothes to match”

She’s not only the pretty one … she’s the smart one, too.

In creating her high school senior photography session, I really wanted to showcase that depth of character and beauty, both inside and out. What resulted was more than I could have hoped. She simply shines!

“Seven in :07”

In sharing favorite images from her session, I thought it might be fun to also share a brief Q&A I did with her – 7 short, sweet, completely random questions in about seven minutes. A little peek into her world:

Me: What do you want to be when you grow up?

B: I’m majoring in biology and I plan to be a dentist

Me: Name your favorite Houston restaurant.

B: A small Italian place in Rice Village called D’amicos

Me: What will you miss most about high school?

B: I’ll miss all of my high school friends and being with the same class of people since basically 4th grade.

Me: What will you miss least about high school?

B: Drama and gossip.

Me: You can see one musician/band live – who would it be?

B: Rihanna.

Me: If you could trade places for a day with one person (famous or otherwise), who would it be and why?

B: My mom so I can see how hard it is to deal with me and my dad :).

Me: What’s the one thing you bet even your best friends would be surprised to know about you?

B: Even though I’m talkative and can be loud and funny at school, I’m actually pretty quiet at home and like being by myself. I would rather stay in and watch movies than go out with a big group of people.
